1. For the complimentary personal accident insurance:

The insurance period is 30 days, and coverage is in force from midnight of the 2nd day after a successful online application. After the policy becomes effective, there is a 1-day waiting period.

2. For purchased basic/upgrade/premium edition of personal accident insurance:

The insurance period is 365 days, and the coverage is in force from midnight of the 2nd day after a successful online application. After the policy becomes effective, there is a 15-day waiting period only for the first coverage of sudden death; all other coverages have no waiting period.
